Viktor is a stray dog in our locality. Everybody loves Viktor. He is the most popular dog in our locality.
When a new bike or car arrives in locality, Viktor spots it immediately and makes it a point to rest and sleep under the vehicle or in the front. Owners are always happy to see the scratch free vehicle and admire Viktor's service. If you come bit late from your job he waits around the corner and then escorts you till your flat to ensure you are safe and fine. Same rule he applies if you leave home early and looking for a rickshaw till the rickshaw stand.
But he has gone through terrible tragedy. The Nazi's from TMC few years ago got hold of him and castrated him and released him. This he faced bravely and adapted himself to new life. He has made his own gang of dogs and quite popular team player.
I have heard that during hot summer months, few neighbors even invite him in to rest in air conditioned bed rooms too. However, he lives life Kings style in his own way. Often he may ignore you or refuse invitation for good food too.
Whenever I see Viktor, I call him Viktarooooo lovingly and he just opens his one eye and wags his tell to say....Hey Happy to see you Old Man.....
